Salesforce Stakeholder Impact Report

Visual design
Team: LaunchXD

In 2024, Salesforce published its annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, highlighting the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical governance. This year, the report transitioned from a microsite to an interactive PDF, requiring a thoughtful approach to design that maintained engagement and clarity. With five in-depth chapters covering different aspects of ESG, the challenge was to present complex data and insights in a way that was both visually compelling and easy to understand.
As the visual designer for this report, my goal was to transform dense ESG content into an engaging, visually structured experience. I developed a cohesive layout that blended narratives, imagery, and data visualizations, ensuring a balance between storytelling and information clarity. With the shift to a static PDF format, I focused on creating an intuitive flow, designing impactful infographics, and using dynamic typography and color schemes to enhance readability and engagement.

A major component of the design was translating Salesforce’s ESG impact into compelling visual storytelling. The Technology chapter featured data-driven insights on adoption rates, customer testimonials, and the real-world impact of Salesforce technologies. In the Planet chapter, I designed clear, digestible infographics that illustrated key sustainability metrics such as carbon emissions, energy consumption, and renewable energy initiatives. These visual elements helped stakeholders quickly grasp complex information while reinforcing Salesforce’s commitment to ESG initiatives.
The Salesforce Stakeholder Impact Report successfully communicates the company’s ESG efforts in a way that is informative, accessible, and visually engaging.
This project demonstrates the power of strategic design in transforming corporate impact data into an engaging and meaningful experience for stakeholders worldwide.
